Independent Power was established well over thirty years ago and is considered one of the pioneers in the alternative energy market in New Zealand.  The company is predominantly active in the solar PV wholesale market. We provide equipment for backup power, renewable energy and energy storage solutions nationwide and beyond (mainly the Pacific Islands).  Our core business is the supply of standalone / off-grid power and grid tie renewable energy systems. Independent Power offers a wide range of high quality and durable equipment, including solar panels, mounting systems, solar controllers, inverter/chargers, pre-wired power conversion systems, micro-hydro turbines, system management and control, wind turbines, batteries, low energy refrigeration, generators and a range of our own in-house developed products.
