The portable EU10i is the first generator of its size to feature a microcomputer-controlled sinewave inverter that guarantees commercial-quality electricity – making it ideal for use with frequency-sensitive electrical equipment such as laptops. It is the size of overhead luggage, making it the most portable Honda generator there is.

It uses a high-speed multi-point alternator that is integrated into the engine itself. This technology reduces the overall weight and size by 25% to 50% compared to similarly classed conventional models. You can take it anywhere!

FEATURE UPON FEATURE

This generator is Parallel Connection capable, which allows two EU10i's to be quickly and easily linked using a special parallel connection cable to double your output to 2Kva.

The EU10i features an Eco-throttle which adjusts the engine speed to meet the load demand. This increases fuel economy as it will only run at capacity when necessary.

ECO THROTTLE™

Eco Throttle™ allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust the engine speed to produce only the power needed for the application in use. Traditional generators have to run at 3600 RPM to produce 60 hertz (cycle) electricity. But generators with Eco Throttle can run at much slower RPMs while maintaining frequency and power for the requested load. Eco Throttle uses a load-dependant speed control-type governor to automatically adjust the engine speed to the optimum level.
Because the engine does not have to run at full speed constantly, Eco Throttle reduces fuel consumption by up to 40%. It also helps to reduce exhaust emissions.
Eco Throttle also reduces the noise level on our inverter generators. Because the engine is not running at full speed constantly, it is much quieter.
